Is hemorrhoid a bad thing to use for a diaper rash?
I am a new mother my child is one year. i applied only a dime size amount on it on a mild looking rash and now its looks even worse. his skin is raw looking and i tried Desitin and it made it look worse after i changed him after two diapers. he is not bleeding from the rash but could it be possible if it’s an allergic reaction? please any help or advice is needed. i am taking him to the doctor if it gets worse then this. but i really need some advice.

You used hemorrhoid cream on a baby? Oops.. You should never use adult medicines on under 12’s, unless recommended by your doctor.
The best thing for nappy rash is to keep chemicals away, use cotton wool and warm water instead of baby wipes, and make sure the bum is entirely dry once washed. You can get nappy rash creams, I use sudocrem, bepanthen is not bad either.
Hope you get sorted, if it hasn’t started to clear up in a couple of days I would see the doctor.

I, personally, have never had any luck with diaper creams. I do however find that Vaseline (petroleum Jelly) works the best for keeping moisture off of a rash and letting it heal. When all else fails, as gross as it sounds, i would try corn starch. It sounds gross, but it used to work for my daughter.
