Do external hemorrhoids go away on their own? without any type of medication.?
I’ve got just one, caused by constipation for about a week, i noticed it today. and i am rather embarrassed by it. so i was wondering if it would go away on its own?
this could also be a clogged hair follicle. if that is the case, which im unsure if it is one of the two. could alcohol on a cotton ball, or some sort of swab that is meant for pimples, and things like that. could that help?

You can try some home remedies like herbal cream, lotions or tablets. You can also try the natural ways such as changing diet and drinking much water. Finally, you will have to take action to get rid of your external hemorrhoids.

well frank, after childbirth the hemorrhoid may go away on its own.
since this doesnt apply to you, just go out and get a bottle of witch hazel. its on the shelf next to hydogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol. put that stuff on a cotton ball and apply to your hemorrhoid. leave it there for a few minutes then discard the cotton ball. repeat the application.
witch hazel is much better at resolving hemorrhoids than prep h.
