Do external hemorrhoids bleed?

Don’t mean to sound gross but

I have a external hemorrhoid and I was going to poop and blood splattered everywhere. Do external hemorrhoids bleed or do I have a internal hemorrhoid.

They do bleed. Likely one of them broke and that’s why you got the blood spatter.

You most likely have both and yes they can both bleed.
